Tri-Cities Community Connections (TCCC) is looking for a community-minded leader who believes in the power of community, creativity, education, and opportunity.

TCCC is a local faith-based nonprofit committed to creating educational and economic opportunities for underserved communities. We are seeking a leader who can help us strengthen our current programs, grow partnerships, engage donors, and expand our community impact.

This role may be a strong fit for someone who has led people, programs, volunteers, projects, or community initiatives and is ready to step into a meaningful nonprofit leadership role.

You will work closely with the Board of Directors and provide leadership for day-to-day operations, program coordination, fundraising, communications, partnerships, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, dependable, collaborative, and able to follow through. You should be comfortable working independently while keeping the Board informed and engaged. You should also enjoy building relationships with people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic communities.

We are seeking someone with at least two years of progressively responsible leadership experience. Nonprofit experience is helpful, but we also welcome candidates with leadership experience in business, education, ministry, community programs, volunteer coordination, or related work.

Full-Time | $60,000–$70,000 annually | Flexible Schedule

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued.

Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule:Flexible; occasional evenings and Saturdays 

ABOUT TCCC

Tri-Cities Community Connections (TCCC) is a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit organization committed to creating educational and economic opportunities for underserved communities. TCCC develops practical, relationship-centered programs that strengthen skills, support creativity, and promote long-term community growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Director provides day-to-day leadership for TCCC operations, programs, partnerships, fundraising, and community engagement. Working closely with the Board of Directors, this role advances the organization’s mission, supports current initiatives—including two Sewing Centers—and helps expand educational and economic development programs that respond to community needs.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative nonprofit leader who can build trust across diverse communities, steward resources responsibly, strengthen partnerships, and translate ideas into well-organized, sustainable programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Board Partnership

·    Partner with the Board of Directors to implement strategic priorities and ensure programs align with TCCC’s mission, vision, and goals.

·    Prepare reports, updates, and recommendations to support informed Board decision-making.

·    Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget in collaboration with the Board; track expenses and ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources.

·    Carry out other mission-aligned duties as assigned by the Board.

Program Leadership & Operations

·    Recruit, train, schedule, and support instructors and volunteers.

·    Oversee existing Sewing Centers and support the launch of future program sites and community-based initiatives.

·    Coordinate volunteer support for sewing, quilting, summer camp, and other educational enrichment opportunities that reflect community needs.

·    Manage donations of materials, equipment, and supplies; maintain organized systems for program resources.

·    Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements that strengthen community impact.

Fundraising, Communications & Community Engagement

·    Lead fundraising and resource development efforts, including grants, donations, sponsorships, and donor engagement.

·    Maintain and strengthen TCCC’s partnership with Hillspring Church and other key stakeholders.

·    Build collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, civic leaders, and partner agencies.

·    Represent TCCC at community meetings, events, and partner gatherings.

·    Oversee public communications, including social media, marketing, and community updates.

Qualifications and Experience

·    Two or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nonprofit or for-profit organizations

·    Strong organizational, leadership, project management, and follow-through skills.

·    Demonstrated record of building community relationships, especially across diverse cultural and socioeconomic communities.

·    Must demonstrate record of working independently while maintaining regular communication and accountability with the Board of Directors.

·    Experience with fundraising, grant writing, donor development, sponsorships, or resource cultivation.

Preferred Experience

·    Experience in program management, educational programming, community development, marketing, or related areas.

·    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and common digital communication platforms.

·    Bilingual in English and Spanish.
